Through years of experience I’m a professional subtitler having worked on many high profile projects ranging from subtitling for movies and television series’ on Turkish television, and streaming services such as Digiturk, Netflix and Disney Plus.
Some popular productions I’ve worked on include Law & Order (US NBC drama series), The Dr. Oz Show (US talk show), My Friends Tigger and Pooh (Walt Disney kids series), Animal Fight Club (National Geographic), and Hustle (US film).
I’ve also curated Turkish subtitles for TED talks, such as this one here by Doctor and writer Atul Gawande.
My multi-language linguistic skills allows for effective transcreation and background sound captioning to ensure ease of viewer understanding and enjoyment. Moreover, my understanding of English and French slang words and mannerisms as well as my ability to translate direct from audio, further strengthens the quality of my subtitling work.
